Intermediate Package

The Intermediate package is for dogs that have had some basic training with me or with anyone else (including you). This package includes four hours of training and is for any age dog. Prerequisistes for intermediate training are the following commands: Sit, Down, Stay for 30 seconds, and walking nicely on a leash. The intermediate class is designed for the person who wants their dog to not only sit when he is asked, but stays seated until he is told to get up. This is for the person who wants a dog who listens every time, even in public and around other dogs! If you are ready to get more from your dog while asking him to think and expand his brain, then this is the package for you. The Intermediate package includes the following:

Week 1:

• The importance of a release word
• Begin commnad "Stay" with distractions
• Begin command "Go to bed/crate" from a distance
• Begin command "Stand"

Week 2:

• Begin command "Stay" for duration
• Begin command "Heel"
• Continue command "Stand",  "Stay" with distractions and "Go to bed" at a distance

Weekl 3:

• Continue "Heel", "Stay" for distraction and duration
• Begin "Stay" from a distance
• Begin advanced "Leave-It"
• Trick training: "Crawl"

Week 4:

• Sit/Down immediatley when asked
• Continue "Stay" with distractions, for duration and from a distance
• Review all behaviors
